What Kind  of drive system are available in Home Lifts & Home Elevators and which is best  ?

There are many drive systems used for home Lifts or Home  Elevators in India.
It is believed that , In older times, steam (Water) was used for driving Elevators or Lifts  . However in today's modern world, there are many drive systems available 

Most common
Electric Traction Roped ( Geared & Gearless)
Hydraulic ( Direct or In direct ) 

Not used much

Pneumatic
Screw Drive
Rack & Pinion 

Electric Traction Home Elevators are the most common & best drive system used quite extensively. In this drive system Elevator / Lift  are moved by means of steel ropes travelling over a pulley system, and the load is balanced by a counterweight. Precise control with an  high-efficiency motor using an ACVVF  provides the required traction to move safely & with speed . In this drive system , there are primarily 2 types of systems  available depending upon the type of motor used . It is called Geared Traction machine or Gearless Traction machine . Mostly AC Induction Geared or PMSM  gearless motors are used to drive Elevators Lifts  with the help of an AC VVVF drives.

Darcy Little Sparrow  Oh god, It is 5 am. Why these birds are creating so much noise on the windows.  Oh god, this  chirping sound is disturbing our sleep.
